Jump Around Gymnastics

Jump Around Gymnastics offers the Preschool Program for children ages 18 months to 5 years, along with Tadpoles for children from crawling to early walking, Parent/Tot class for children walking to 3 years old, Grasshoppers for 3 year olds, Kangaroos for 4 and 5 year olds, and Open Jump for all ages. The facility has Olympic apparatuses for boys and girls, preschool equipment, and trampolines.

Programs

• Preschool Program — 18 months to 5 years · Focused on development of coordination and strength across three age groups.
• Tadpoles — children from crawling to early walking · Teacher guided class with an aid or caregiver; sensorimotor activities focus on developing relationship between bodies and environment.
• Parent/Tot class — walking to 3 years old · Teacher-guided with the aid of a caregiver; children participate in circuits and follow a gymnastics curriculum.
• Grasshoppers — 3 year olds · Independent class with structured circuits to develop and hone basic gymnastics skills.
• Kangaroos — 4 & 5 year olds · Gymnastics stations are introduced for immediate repetition of the same skill.
• Recreational Program — 6+ years · Designed to facilitate growth through milestone skills; multiple levels and assessments each session.
• Team Program — For gymnasts interested in training multiple days per week and making a year round commitment.
• Competitive Team Program — Year round training with emphasis on form and technique; preparation for state, regional, and national level competition.

About the provider

Jump Around Gymnastics opened in 2012. Owner Ben O’Neill has over 2 decades of coaching experience at the Preschool, Recreational, Junior Olympic, and College levels. He earned a gymnast scholarship at Southern Connecticut State University and All-American Honors as a Springboard Diver. The program’s mission is to provide a positive gymnastics experience that creates a life-long love for the sport. It also offers open jump, field trips, and birthday parties.

• Open Jump — open to all ages · Tues 10am-12pm; Thurs 10am-12pm; Fri 10am-12pm & 6pm-8pm; Sat 10am-12pm · $10/child.

A $35.00 Annual Registration Fee applies per family. Students are automatically enrolled in the next session. Open Jump is $10/child.
