Jump Around Gymnastics offers preschool gymnastics, recreational gymnastics, competitive gymnastics, and gymnastics classes. Jump Around Gymnastics opened in 2012. It is described as DeForest’s home for preschool, recreational, and competitive gymnastics, with staff dedicated to developing the physical, social, and emotional well-being of gymnasts. Owner Ben O’Neill has over two decades of coaching experience at the preschool, recreational, Junior Olympic, and college levels. Ben earned a gymnastics scholarship at Southern Connecticut State University, where he trained under Olympic gymnast and Hall of Fame coach Abie Grossfeld, and he earned All-American honors as a springboard diver. He continued his coaching career as the head diving coach at Delta State University while earning his master’s degree in education, then served as gymnastics coordinator for the Evergreen Parks and Recreation District in Evergreen, Colorado, before opening Jump Around Gymnastics in Madison.
