Bethel Horizons Summer Camp

Bethel Horizons Summer Camp includes summer camp sessions along with retreats, field trips, workshops, events, and adventure programs. Campers take part in activities such as team building, high ropes, low ropes, a climbing tower, rock climbing, rappelling, and off-site caving. The program also offers environmental education, arts, pottery courses, ceramics, and multimedia studio workshops through Adamah Art Studios.

Bethel Horizons has more than 50 years of experience, with the organization incorporated in May 1969 and its programs expanded over time to include a Nature Center, an adventure program, and the Adamah ceramic studio and retreat center. Its mission is to foster a better understanding of God, self, others, and nature. Environmental education and naturalist programs serve school groups throughout the year, and the organization hosts, supports, and programs events for all ages year-round. One camper described learning about others and self through new activities like climbing and mountain biking, and a parent described a sense of pride and independence after their child’s camp experience.
