Discovery Days Childcare Center offers activities that include Cadence KickStart Soccer, the Kids Café Preschool Cooking Program, and hands-on cooking activities with kid-friendly recipes. Children also take part in Cultural Understanding, Baby Signs, Literacy, Mathematics, and Technology activities as part of the program’s daily experiences.

Discovery Days Childcare Center follows the Wisconsin Model for Early Learning Standards and uses the Ascend Curriculum, which includes activities in academic, physical, emotional, and creative areas. The program includes group activities planned for the developmental needs of each age group, time for children to explore different interest centers in their classrooms, and activities that are individualized by teachers with small group instruction. Discovery Days has been providing early childhood education and care to families since 2000 and uses the Ascend Curriculum with infants as well as older children. The program states that it focuses on children and their individual needs, fosters social and academic learning, and supports early educational learning, positive social interaction, and working to achieve age-appropriate milestones in a nurturing and socially stimulating environment according to each child’s age and individuality.
The leadership team includes School Director Danielle Palmer, Assistant Director Kennedy Lepore, and Teacher of the Year Ms. Luz Diaz Telles. Kennedy Lepore is a graduate of Seminole High School with a background in Early Childhood Education. Cadence KickStart Soccer is led by teachers the children already know and is integrated into the school day, and Kids Café includes a take-home cooking kit. The program notes that its activities and programs are designed to help children learn at their own pace. Discovery Days Childcare Center also participates in community efforts through Cadence Gives Back and invites families to join Cadence in supporting St. Jude.
