Park's Edge Preschool & Child Care Center offers a series of programs for children using a well-defined, age-appropriate daily curriculum. The center is distinctly designed with features that promote an optimal atmosphere for the individual growth and development of each child. It is described by families as a “home away from home” for children and strives to be a valuable extension of the families it serves.

Park's Edge Preschool & Child Care Center is a non-profit organization that was established in June of 1999 as an outreach program of the Emanuel United Church of Christ, which has been serving the Hales Corners community for over 100 years. The center offers a variety of programs that accommodate children from six weeks through twelve years of age, including programs for children age six weeks through pre-kindergarten. Its mission is to provide an outstanding Christian environment that focuses on the development of each individual child spiritually, morally, physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. The program was established as an outreach of Emanuel United Church of Christ, which has been involved in the Hales Corners community for over a century.
The leadership team includes Center Director Ellen Kvalheim, Assistant Director Kristin Burr, Curriculum Coordinator Jenele Baldwin, and Safety Coordinator and Preschool Teacher Melinda Antoniewizc. Ellen Kvalheim earned an Early Childhood Administrative Credential from UWM and a Bachelor's Degree, with distinction, in Human Services from Ottawa University, and is Registry Level 15. Kristin Burr graduated with her Early Childhood Associate's Degree in 2017. Jenele Baldwin has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood from MATC, which places her at Registry Level 12.
Park's Edge Preschool & Child Care Center holds NAC Accreditation from the National Accreditation Commission through the Association for Early Learning Leaders and has a YoungStar 5 Star Provider Rating. Parents and families report that staff members know each child by name, express thanks for the impact staff have on their children, and describe feeling “truly blessed” to have the staff caring for their three children. Families also share appreciation for special events such as a Mother's Day Breakfast and note that their children have “learned so much in such a short time.”
