CSA Kids Sports & Arts Campus was founded in 1974 as Creative School of Arts and established roots in Janesville in 1979. It settled into its current main home in 2001 and opened a second campus in 2023, marking 50 years of operation in 2024 and being described as one of the oldest privately owned gymnastics clubs in Wisconsin. The program was founded by Barb Jonuska and her mother, Judy Kozlowski, later joined by her son and grandson, Douglas Jonuska, with ownership transitioning in 2024 to Lynell Chapman and Stephany Aviles. The owners state they have 32 years of combined experience coaching, educating, and managing youth sports. CSA Kids states a mission of creating a “lifetime fitness habit” in children by associating fitness with fun, training strong, flexible muscles, and learning to take responsibility. CSA Kids is described as a family-owned program and a leading provider of youth sports and arts education programs that has expanded its community footprint and offers grade school and daycare outreach opportunities. One testimonial from 3rd Level Consulting, shared by Barbara Ann M., recommends CSA Kids as a children’s activity center based on that organization’s decades of work with children’s education, entertainment, arts, and sports instruction programs.
