About
Jefferson Recreation Department Youth Recreation Programs offers youth recreation activities through the Jefferson Recreation Department. The department provides several ways for families to handle registration and program participation details.
• Schedule: Registration is available in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and cancellation of Adult League play is decided by 4:00 p.m.
• Price: Any person residing outside the Jefferson School District boundaries is considered a non-resident and is assessed an additional 25% fee, and applicants may be granted a 50% reduction in fee or a payment plan at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
The Recreation Department offers four ways to register: Walk-In, Mail-In, 24-Hour Drop Box, and Online. All cancellations due to weather or facility conditions are announced on WFAW (AM-940). The department states that it is not responsible for personal equipment, clothes, or other items that are lost or stolen during participation in any sponsored activity. The use of all tobacco products and drinking of alcoholic beverages on premises owned by the Jefferson School District is prohibited by State Law. The department states that no person shall, on the basis of sex, race, national origin, ancestry, creed, marital or parental status, age, or disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity, including employment.

The leadership team includes Director Chad Holpfer, Recreation Supervisor Katy Voight, Senior Center Coordinator Sheila Frohmader, Director Cyndi Keller, Recreation Supervisor Chad Holpfer, Administrative Assistant Mary Acketz, and Senior Center Coordinator Sheila Frohmader.
