Thrive Martial Arts offers classes in martial arts that include American Karate, Okinawan Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Escrima, Kung Fu, and weapons. The program also offers field trips and birthday parties that feature hour-long martial arts classes specialized to each group.

Thrive Martial Arts’ philosophy is to teach students to challenge themselves to accomplish their goals and unlock their true potential. Classes are taught using techniques from various styles including American Karate, Okinawan Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Escrima, and Kung Fu. The Little Dragons program for ages 3 to 6 focuses each class on a specific life skill using creative drills. Youth Classes for ages 7 to 12 focus on techniques and concepts related to self-esteem, attitude, respect, discipline, goal setting, and leadership. Teen/Adult Martial Arts for ages 13 and up has a curriculum with a high focus on fitness and practical self-defense. Field trips and birthday parties for all ages are available at a group’s location or at the Thrive Martial Arts home facility and are offered as hour-long classes specialized to the group. Special Needs Youth/Teen classes are provided for students who will be able to succeed with a more specialized environment, including students from autism to down syndrome. Weapons classes for youth and teens allow students to learn over 15 Japanese, Chinese, and Filipino weapons, and require an intermediate rank. Thrive Martial Arts’ Head Instructor and owner, Mr. Hagman, has over 20 years of experience in martial arts education, teaching students of all ages and abilities. Mr. Hagman specializes in building self-confidence, goal setting, and leading students to form good habits on and off the mat.
