Wild Rumpus Circus is owned by Marcia Miquelon and Jacob Mills. Each staff member brings over twenty years of teaching and performing experience to their work with children through adults. Wild Rumpus Circus camps, performances, classes, and workshops have been offered since 2002, and since 2002 Wild Rumpus Circus camps for kids have filled their studio each spring and summer. In late 2013, they bought a former hardware-turned-vintage store in Mazomanie’s downtown historic district and moved their circus and movement classes into the new space.

The program uses traditional circus arts such as juggling, tight-wire walking, clowning, aerial arts, and acrobatics to teach kids and adults about overcoming challenges and connecting with others in a way that is safe, non-competitive, and fun. The program also offers an all-ages Spring Circus, Mazopalooza! improvisational dance festival, a variety show and silent auction with a wood-fired pizza feast as a fundraiser for their dance floor, a multi-day dance workshop with Contact Improvisation teacher Martin Keogh, three live bands performing original music, a zombie happening, and a visit from Santa. They have toured to the Middle East, Europe, and numerous U.S. locations, making their hands-on circus accessible to multi-lingual audiences. The Goodman Community Center is described as an East-side community resource where they rent space and offer aerial classes, circus camps, and performance workshops. Their space is available for custom birthday parties, community events, rehearsals, meetings, weekend retreats, unique celebrations, and creative classes.
