Camp Eagle Ridge is a boys and girls summer leadership camp where campers can choose from over 40 activities daily. The program includes a traditional summer camp setting with a rich environment full of opportunities to practice leadership skills, stay physically active, and develop passions and interests. Campers are also able to unplug from technology and focus on community, according to parent and camper testimonials.

Camp Eagle Ridge’s mission is to develop strong leaders, healthy living skills, and a sense of community responsibility. The camp states that it celebrates diversity, promotes equity, and embraces inclusion, and that every person is valued for who they are. It also states that by fostering a culture of acceptance and understanding, it creates an environment where everyone can feel empowered to be their authentic selves.

Camp Eagle Ridge is an American Camp Association accredited camp and has held this accreditation for 30 years. It has been named one of America’s Best Summer Camps 2024 by Newsweek Magazine. The camp has a full-time Health Manager, and staff are certified in CPR and First Aid. Many staff members come from the Counselor-In-Training and Junior Counselor programs, which involve two years of training before joining the staff, and all staff go through a two-week, extensive training program every summer. The camp states that it supports healthy living skills by offering healthy choices from a rich variety of foods.
