Swift Nature Camp

Swift Nature Camp is an overnight children's summer camp that blends traditional summer camp activities with nature, science, and environmental learning. Campers take part in swimming, jumping on a water trampoline, boating, fishing, shooting at archery, singing, crazy craft making, and playing with animals. They also canoe down scenic rivers, hike through forests, go on bike trips, camp under the stars, sing songs around a fire, jump into waterfalls, catch frogs, pick wild berries, and learn about and play with animals at the Nature Center, including on canoe and hiking trips.

Swift Nature Camp describes its focus as blending traditional summer camp activities with increasing a child's appreciation for nature, science, and the environment. The camp states that it uses adventure, learning, and kindness in a natural setting to promote each child's personal development, and that campers report a nurturing atmosphere that makes it easier to make friends, try new activities, and be themselves. The camp notes that parents are told campers return home more responsible, more resilient, and kinder. Swift Nature Camp holds ACA Accreditation and identifies itself as an eco friendly, environmental, green, old fashioned outdoor youth science camp, with a small, non-competitive, non-denominational program that includes water and land activities, a Nature Center filled with animals, and canoe and hiking trips. The camp also offers a teen leadership program for 16–17 year olds as an overnight leadership summer camp and leadership training, and it is described as the #1 rated summer camp in Wisconsin.
