Chestnut Children's Academy

Chestnut Children's Academy offers hands-on activities, outdoor playtime, STEAM activities, and team building. The program also includes field trips off site during summer camp to enhance the learning experience. The early childhood classroom is described as a community, and the preschool classroom is STEM-inspired, with science, technology, engineering, and math integrated throughout learning centers.

The building has a new, state of the art security system and is only accessible to authorized individuals, including families, staff, and invited visitors. Each infant has a primary caregiver as the main point of contact. Dedicated teachers at Chestnut Children's Academy are early education experts. Before school, a light breakfast is offered prior to the bus arriving, and after school the program focuses on STEAM activities and team building, with an afternoon snack included in care. Summer camp may not be available every year, depending on the number of currently enrolled children in the program. The primary mission of Chestnut Children's Academy is to provide superior care for children in the community, with learning experiences that support each child's healthy growth in all developmental domains. The program offers wrap around care for the Pardeeville Elementary School District, with transportation for before and/or after school care provided through the Smith Bus Company. Families use the Procare mobile app for parent engagement, including tracking milestones, sharing photos and videos, receiving updates and newsletters, and using two-way communication.
