TNT Gymnastics offers recreational and competitive team gymnastics, wrestling-focused flexibility and tumbling, ninja course training, acrobatics classes for dancers, cheer and tumble classes, toddler classes, themed tumbling, open gym, private lessons, adult classes, and birthday parties. The program also offers a junior assistant program that brings in older team members to help with classes and learn how to become instructors. Children age 2.5 through teen can join the program and are welcome at any ability level, and the fun is not just for girls and does not require membership to participate.

TNT Gymnastics describes its mission as creating an enthusiastic environment with a passionate coaching staff committed to giving to, enhancing and enriching young lives through the sport of gymnastics, and states that it is dedicated to helping all gymnasts reach their potential physically and mentally by offering every child the best gymnastics instruction possible. The program states that it is a place where all participants can feel great about their accomplishments while seeking life-long benefits from their gymnastics experience.

The program started at a community roller rink 18 years ago, and founder Tracy (Steldt) Troxel started TNT in an old karate studio in Boscobel 19 years ago, with many relocations in Prairie du Chien over 18 years. Tracy (Steldt) Troxel is the business owner, head coach at the Richland Center location, and gym founder; Danielle Mueller is the gym manager at TNT Gymnastics, head coach for the Prairie du Chien and Mauston programs, and a recreational and team coach in Richland Center; and Kristen Brooks is a full-time coach who leads Prairie du Chien’s competition team and is head coach at the Waukon, Iowa, gym. Danielle Mueller holds a degree in health education.

TNT Gymnastics describes its tagline as “An Explosion of Excellence!” and notes that it has an ultra-modern new facility with the latest, state-of-the-art equipment and “all the bells and whistles.” The program states that it is a place where kids can come and get away from the TV and computer screen or use the equipment during the winter, and that home school and day care groups and families can enjoy the trampoline, ninja warrior course, and “paint and tumble” opportunities.

TNT reports an outstanding partnership with the school district in Prairie du Chien, describing that the two “feed off of each other” and are happy to see the other flourish. The high school coach is an employee of TNT, and junior high and high school gymnasts, wrestlers, and track competitors have used TNT’s facility, equipment, and coaching expertise, while TNT regularly uses certain school district equipment. Tracy and Danielle have volunteered to spot for and originate routines for the high school gymnastics team occasionally.
