Summer Day Camp & School Age Programs includes activities such as sports, arts, STEM projects, outdoor play, outdoor adventures, and creative enrichment. The YMCA of the Fox Cities is a nonprofit rooted in the heart of the Fox Cities area of Wisconsin, here for every age, every ability, and every stage of life. Programs are designed for working families and offer flexible scheduling. Programs provide a safe, engaging environment where kids stay active, build friendships and grow all summer long, and every day is described as an opportunity to learn, explore and thrive. The Membership for All program provides financial assistance so individuals and families in the community can access membership and programs such as child care, swim lessons, camps, and LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA, and is based on the belief that no one should be left out.
Parents and participants describe the YMCA facilities as clean and well maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. One parent, Emily, says she enjoys the classes offered and feels the amenities make her membership worth it. Another member, Jane, shares that staff are very friendly, that she has seen the care staff provide to everyone, and that her 90-year-old mother now looks forward to a weekly chair yoga class. A third parent, Sarah, notes that the YMCA has been part of her life since she was a teen and that her kids are now part of YMCA programs including childcare, basketball, volleyball, environmental education, and time in the pools and play areas.
