Somerset Soccer Club

Somerset Soccer Club offers U6 Rec, U8 Rec, U10 Competitive, U12 Competitive, U15 Competitive, and Winter Futsal. Rec programs are listed as U6 Rec for ages 3 to 6 and U8 Rec for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade, with Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings for both. Competitive programs include Tuesday/Thursday practices with weekend jamborees and tournaments for U10 and U12, and two practices per week with weekend jamborees and tournaments for U15.

• General schedule: Rec programs offer two separate sessions, one spring and one fall. Spring season generally runs mid April through mid June, and fall season generally runs late August through early October. Competitive programs offer spring and fall seasons, each typically around two months. Spring usually starts early April and ends early/mid June; fall typically starts mid/late August and runs to mid October. Winter Futsal has two sessions, each including 6 games.

Somerset Soccer Club has served members in Western Wisconsin since 2001. It is an independent, volunteer, non-profit organization serving boys and girls, and it was founded to help promote sportsmanship and community in the Somerset area. Its mission is to introduce soccer to youth of all ages and skill levels, with the purpose of instilling a lifelong passion for the game while having fun.

It offers in-house programs and competitive programs. Teams are broken out by gender and age group for competitive play. All training sessions for the Rec program are held behind the district office at the Somerset, WI public school campus. Fields are located in between the Somerset Elementary and High School.
