Fort Littlegreen Youth Camp & Nature Center offers farm and garden time, gardening, organic growing, and small animal care, including animal care and animal education. Campers take part in fun field trips, art/STEM projects, and a variety of outdoor activities. The program also highlights friendship and fun as part of the camp experience.

Fort Littlegreen Youth Camp & Nature Center is a non-profit youth camp and educational growing center with a nature-based alternative to daycare for grade school children, along with a before/after school program and a summer camp. The program focuses on organic growing, animal education, empathy, mentorship, leadership, and fun, with special attention to gardening, small animal care, and connecting kids to nature. Its mission is to create an atmosphere where youth of all abilities can learn and thrive in the magic of nature in an outdoor-based camp experience, encouraging exploration of the environment and the natural world. Fort Littlegreen is a non-profit 501(c)3 established in 2013, and its before/after school program and summer camp have been serving the children of Stoughton since 2009. It has been voted one of America’s Best Summer Camps in the nation and is listed among the top 90 best camps in the nation. Fort Littlegreen is dedicated to showing youth and the community the wonders of growing food, small animal care, and preserving nature.
One parent shared that their kids have “grown up” with Fort Littlegreen as a major part of their lives and that the children look forward to summer at the “farm” community. Another parent described it as a place where the kids love the outdoor experience and said the program has taken great care of their children over the years. A third parent called it a wonderful place that embraces diversity and emphasizes nature, and said their child loves it and is in good hands learning new things in a group of diverse kids.
