KidStrong is a kids training program that builds strong, confident and high-character kids, and its curriculum focuses on three pillars: character, physical, and cognitive. The program follows a Whole Child Philosophy that focuses on Strong Character, Strong Body, and Strong Mind, and uses science-based fitness games to develop emotional, physical, and mental skills. KidStrong emphasizes progression with rank ups, new responsibilities, and celebrating progress in weekly 45-minute, age-appropriate classes. KidStrong does not provide medical services, does not accept insurance, and cannot guarantee that a child will learn how to fly.

KidStrong was founded in 2015 and is guided by a group of experts, child development scientists, and coaches. Programming is designed by child development experts, and coaches are described as highly-trained and certified, as well as specially-trained, compassionate leaders. The leadership team includes founders Matt and Megin Sharp; Morgan Johnson, Sr. Manager of Training & Certification; Ramon Williams, Senior Programming Specialist; Randy Nguyen, Programming Specialist; Patti Eubanks, Preschool & Kindergarten Director; Patrick Ford, Doctor of Physical Therapy; and Dr. Julie Foucher, MD, Family Physician and 4-time CrossFit Games competitor.

Parents have shared that KidStrong has been “life changing” for a child who learned how to participate, listen, be a good teammate, and practice patience. Other parents report that their children have become more brave with challenging activities, come out of their shells, and that weekly attendance is a favorite part of their family’s routine. Several parents describe kids who were initially shy, anxious, or delayed in speech and communication, and say they observed changes such as increased confidence, willingness to participate in group settings, and motivation to try new tasks like cooking and cleaning.
