Superior Douglas County Family YMCA Youth Programs includes Camp Tall Pines, Swimming Lessons, Parent-Child Swimming Lessons, and Private Swim Lessons. Camp Tall Pines is an 11-week day camp in summer, and swimming lessons are offered in current and upcoming sessions with weekday time slots.

Programs

• Camp Tall Pines — Youth who are 5 and have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade · 11-week day camp in summer · $232 per week · A $52 deposit must be paid for each week at registration. Deposits are non-refundable after May 25th, 2026.
• Swimming Lessons — Children ages 3-12 years · Mon and Wed or Tue and Thu; 4:35 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 5:55 p.m. · $67–$113.50 · Preschool and school age swimming lessons.
• Parent-Child Swimming Lessons — Children ages 6 months to 3 years old · Wednesdays, 4:35 p.m.; Tuesdays, 9:40 a.m. · $67–$113.50 · Parents are required to be in the water with their child for the duration of the swimming lesson.
• Private Swim Lessons — Adaptive lessons may be available; requests are filled as instructor availability permits.

YMCA Camp Tall Pines has a history of 100 years in camping. The Superior YMCA says it is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing the community through youth development, social responsibility, and healthy living, and it references community partners, financial assistance, and collaboration with the Superior School District for Camp Tall Pines.

Unaccompanied youth must be picked up at least 30 min. before closing. Camp deposits are non-refundable after May 25th, 2026. Camp fees are due in full two weeks prior to the day the child begins camp. Cancellations and changes must be made at least 17 days prior to the start of the camp week. No refunds for missed days. Electronics are not allowed at camp. Swim lesson missed lessons cannot be rescheduled. The Y does not provide cash refunds. There are no refunds for youth sports, personal training, swim team, swim lessons, or childcare programs.
