Little Tree Kinderhaus includes daily activities such as singing, playing, creating, working, learning, cooking, walking in the woods, and climbing trees. Children move together in circle, listen to story and puppetry, take part in plays and craft, and share song and meals in a family-like environment. The program follows steady rhythms that guide daily transitions and emphasizes the rhythms of the days, seasons, and years.
Little Tree Kinderhaus is led by owner, administrator, and teacher Tracy Mangold. The teacher holds a degree in Special Education and training in Waldorf Teaching and has been teaching for nearly 30 years in early childhood and elementary school settings, including Day Care, Public and Private, Montessori, and Waldorf classrooms. Little Tree Kinderhaus was lovingly opened 13 years ago and has continued for over 13 years. The program is a state licensed family in home care facility and a nature based school. The school takes walks throughout the neighborhood and observes the sights of nature and life in the community.
