HAWS Summer Camps are offered by the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County, Inc. (HAWS). The camps take place at an organization that also operates an open-admission, no-kill shelter and runs programs for all ages that focus on compassion for all living things. HAWS also operates the SNIP Clinic, which provides spay-neuter and life-saving surgical procedures, alongside its camps and other programs.
• Schedule: HAWS public hours run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Since 1965, the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County, Inc. has been a community-based organization that assists animals and the people who care about them. HAWS’ professional and certified instructors work with owners and their pets to build a foundation of good behavior. The organization leads the community in animal welfare and provides sanctuary for animals in need. HAWS also offers ways for families to get involved through volunteering and events, and it hosts or attends over 160 events each year in Waukesha County.
