Since 1995, Casa Guadalupe Multicultural Center has united communities through education, cultural celebration, and outreach. Its mission is celebrating cultures while empowering communities through inclusive education and equitable access to resources. Casa Guadalupe is described as a cornerstone for connection and empowerment in Washington County, Wisconsin, and it celebrates cultures, supports education, and uplifts communities. The Summer Reading Program includes hands-on STEM activities as part of this work. The organization’s leadership includes Executive Director Maria Gutierrez Gurrola and Founder Mary Lynn Bennett. Mary Lynn Bennett shares, “As the granddaughter of immigrants, I was given the gift of education — the key that opened every door in my life. Through Casa Guadalupe, I now pass that key to others, so they too can build a future filled with hope and opportunity.” Casa Guadalupe also offers Aventuras Juntos, which includes healthy, family-friendly activities that are described as designed to strengthen family bonds, inspire curiosity, and encourage play and connection. Across its communities, Casa Guadalupe focuses on education, cultural celebration, and outreach in Washington County, Wisconsin.
