We believe that every child should have access to Fairyland. Each year, we waive the admission fee for more than 9,000 guests through field trips and free passes distributed through our community partners. Fairyland provides sponsored memberships to income-qualifying families in our community, through our partners, and by direct application. We also host family days in collaboration with community partners such as City of Oakland Head Start, Brilliant Baby, Oakland Rotary, and Oakland LGBTQ Center.

Students will create fabulous garments made from repurposed materials including up-cycled clothing and textiles that blur the line between Object D’art and ready-to-wear garments. The work from this class will be shown in a fashion show/exhibit at Minnesota Street Project.

Firecracker Math Camp is for curious and challenge-loving kids. The camp cover selected topics from number theory, algebra, geometry, combinatorics, graph theory, logic, and the basics of computer science. Instruction employs math games, math-based magic tricks, curious paradoxes, and contests to spark kids’ interest and boost their skills and confidence in math and other STEM subjects.

Footfire Soccer Camp offers an engaging summer experience where expert coaches lead skill-building soccer training. Campers enjoy fun activities like water play and arts & crafts, fostering friendships and a love for soccer in a supportive environment.

At Camp Galileo, we immerse campers in age-appropriate and purposeful activities that spark their imagination and promote exploration, problem-solving and collaboration. Campers take on both group and individual projects spanning science, art and design and play plenty of fun outdoor games, all while cultivating confidence, character and creativity.

Garden Camp immerses children in outdoor fun, blending gardening, ecology, art, and wellness. Through engaging activities and play, participants cultivate a love for nature, fostering personal growth and a strong connection with the environment and peers.

Young women and GNC youth ages 14-19 who are strongly interested in performing, making positive change in the world and can commit to attending the entire 4 weeks of the program. African American, Arab, Latinx, Native, Asian and Pacific Islander, low-income and QBIPOC identified girls/GNC youth are strongly encouraged to apply. The primary requirement is that you like to dance, and be creative.

All of our coaches are required to become USAG certified which includes having a background check and completing a safety certification.

Gymtowne Gymnastics offers the complete Junior Olympic Program of USA Gymnastics (USAG). We offer classes for Levels One, Two, Three, and Four. Competitive teams are available for USA Gymnastics Levels Three and up as well as Xcel.
