Nueva Summer’s Expedition program is designed to spark student creativity and inspire learners from all over the San Francisco Bay Area. Join us to deeply explore literature, art, debate, design thinking and engineering, and math!

We offer 2 hour oil painting classes for children. New students begin with drawing exercises followed by a still life oil painting of a basic form to demonstrate the application of technique to 3-D objects. Then, with the help and guidance of the instructor, students are encouraged to choose their own projects to put into practice the techniques they are learning.
