United Studios of Self Defense Burlingame offers karate, martial arts, and self-defense training in both personal training and group class formats. Classes include light sparring, bully prevention, weapons defense, and women's self-defense. The program also provides opportunities for students to participate in an Orange County Regional Championship tournament hosted at Orange Coast College.

United Studios of Self Defense Burlingame has been serving students since 2008. The program offers a Tiny Tigers class for ages 4–6, a Young Dragons class for ages 7–10, and Teens Classes for ages 11–18. Women's Self-Defense Classes are held every Thursday, and the first lesson is free for new students. The dojo also offers a variety of extended self-defense services, including bully prevention, weapons defense, and women's self-defense, and hosts a variety of dojo and community events.
The leadership team includes Chief Instructor Greg Shraiman; Assistant Instructors Diya Mittal and Isaac Sanford; STORM Team members Emma Shraiman and Tomo Ng; and STORM Team Assistant Bryce Makela. Staff credentials include Second Degree Black Belt instructor Diya Mittal with over eight years of martial arts experience, Blue Belt instructor Isaac Sanford with eleven years of martial arts experience including seven years of Taekwondo, Junior Black Belt instructor Tomo Ng with over ten years of training, and Purple Belt instructor Bryce Makela with seven years of martial arts experience. The program states that it is committed to a personalized karate journey for each student, no matter age or rank, and that whatever the reasons are to study martial arts, the end result will be a stronger, healthier student.
