Baby Classes in the Bay Area

Imagine . . . a class for you and your young child where there are interesting sounds and movements, instruments to play, other children to watch, silly things to laugh at, an inviting teacher to follow, and great music! This is Music Together. Music is a basic life skill, like language, and all children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate confidently in music-making when given a supportive music environment. How is this possible? Young children learn instinctively and constantly, and teach themselves through imitation and play, through being immersed in their environment, and through interacting with older role models. We use informal instruction, with children participating as they choose (or not) according to their developmental level. The active participation of adults -parents and/or caregivers- as role models, is essential in class. We're here to help children and their grownups joyfully share songs, rhymes, movement, and instrument play together, both in music class and in their daily lives, to create a strong musical foundation. Wiggling, singing, and laughing with your child is so much fun, it's easy to forget how much learning is taking place! Our research-based curriculum not only develops music skills, it nurtures creativity, self-expression, and confidence while also supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development- all benefits which build over time. We offer two class types: Mixed Age Family Classes (ages 0-5 years), and Babies Only (ages 0-7 months) -Babies are welcome in any class, and our Mixed Age model allows siblings to attend together! A daycamp for toddlers and their parents, come and explore fabric printing (July 7 2025) or wet felting (July 14 2025), play with other young children and enjoy a snack and puppet story.

The Music Class East Bay offers fun-filled mommy & me style music and movement classes. It offers a research-based early childhood music education program featuring award winning music from around the world. Daycare, preschool & kindergarten curriculum is also available.

Our programs take place on the iconic UC Berkeley campus and at the shores of the Berkeley Marina. Our instructors — leaders in their specialized areas and in the youth recreation field — have designed unique programs that offer opportunities for learning and growth, developing skills, making friends, and most of all, having fun.

Camps promoting learning and skill building in a real-world atmosphere, focusing on STEM, physical activity, and social skills through creative and fun activities.

Kids learn Bible lessons, make friends, and have fun in an exciting environment with games, music, crafts, and activities.

Educational family fun with over 50 farm animals, petting zoo, hay rides, adventure course, Flying Swine Barrel Train, and The Big Dig Family Mining Experience. Geared towards families with kids 12 and under, focusing on agriculture and learning.

Provides quality, attentive, loving care with a fun, nurturing environment. Activities include cuddling, rocking, circle time, tummy time, reading books, and creating art.

A family campout event limited to 30 families, where kids 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or another adult. Activities include overnight camping and other family-oriented fun.

Music classes for toddlers ages 0-3, endorsed by pediatricians and preschool teachers, focusing on rhythms, concepts, and movements.

Music classes for babies, including weekly classes, online music downloads, and interactive materials to stimulate movement and language skills.

Group and private music lessons for kids in piano, guitar, mandolin, banjo. Classes include fun outdoor play areas with tunnels, slides, and playhouses.

Music classes for newborn to 5-year-olds, involving singing, dancing, and playing child-friendly percussion instruments in a mixed-age setting.

Panache Enfants offers camps with a blend of academia, fitness, and arts. The program includes instructor-led lessons and creative growth centers for play-based learning, ensuring children are engaged and inspired at different developmental stages.

Program developed for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers focusing on creative play, believing that play is a fundamental part of development.

Creative Gardens is a high-quality, safe, and nurturing preschool and childcare center for children from 2 months old to 5 years old. We have a large and modern facility, loving and qualified teachers, low teacher-to-student ratios, and an educational curriculum with lots of fun enrichment programs included.

Swimming lessons for youth ages newborn and up, including group, private, and semi-private settings. Lessons focus on lifesaving skills and lifelong enjoyment of swimming.

Roller skating lessons for kids of various ages, including Skate Mates for beginners to help with balance and coordination.
