Summer Dance Camps at The Pointe Dance Arts include classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and acrobatics. Campers also take part in strength and flexibility work, technique, acro, and improv. The program takes place in a brand new, state of the art facility with five spacious dance rooms equipped with mirrors, ballet barres, and sprung dance flooring.

Summer Dance Camps at The Pointe Dance Arts are led by a fully professional staff, and each instructor emphasizes superior dance technique in a creative, exciting environment. The leadership team includes Shannon Denney (Owner/Artistic Director) and Maya Johnson (Director of Marketing and Programs, Senior Instructor, Company Choreographer), along with instructors such as Joanne Skoog (Ballet), Christie Everett (Preschool, Tap), Lisa Gibbs (Ballet), Ashley Booker (Hip Hop), Reagan Weaver (Preschool, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop), Michael Matthews (Ballet), Mallory Moore (Contemporary, Company Choreographer), Starla Cone (Preschool), JJ Butler (Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theater), and Loren Humphries (Preschool, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acro). The studio has a near-20 year history and offers dance classes for ages two and up, training beginners, recreational-level, competitive, and pre-professional dancers. Families can schedule a free trial class, and the studio describes itself as one of the largest and most well-established dance studios in its area with a fun, family-friendly environment where students can experience the magic of movement.
