Arizona Swim Camp offers Complete Stroke Technique sessions that focus on stroke technique refinement for competitive swimming. Campers take part in small group and individual stroke analysis and instruction, with the option to add an Extra Starts & Turns Clinic. The program also includes fun evening social activities and guest speakers.

Over the past 20 summers, Arizona Swim Camp has worked with over 2,000 competitive swimmers on stroke technique. Camp Director Brandy Maben is captain of Arizona’s 2008 National Championship team and a former University of Arizona coach and recruiting coordinator, and she has served as the Arizona Nike Swim Camp Director and Lead Instructor for over 5 years. She was captain of the University of Arizona’s NCAA championship team in 2008, competed as a sprint butterfly and freestyle performer, was an Olympic Trials and NCAA qualifier, and was once ranked in the top 20 in the world in the 50-meter fly. She was a member of three Pac-10 championship teams at Arizona, received a Pac-10 Post-graduate scholarship in 2008, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona, a Master of Science at LSU, and furthered her education at Pepperdine University studying Finance.

Head Coach Andy Johns is a winner of 10 consecutive Western Athletic Conference titles and enters his 28th season as Northern Arizona head swimming and diving coach in 2023–2024. Since joining the WAC in 2005, he has received coach of the year honors eight times. Under his coaching, the Lumberjacks have earned 62 individual and relay conference titles, 126 school records, nine conference records, and 49 NCAA qualifying marks, and his student-athletes have posted cumulative grade-point averages of 3.50 and higher in 8 of the past years mentioned.

Arizona Swim Camp takes place at a high-altitude swimming facility at 6,900 feet and offers training at altitude as a unique feature. The program has a low camper-to-staff ratio, is open to any and all entrants, and offers team discounts. Every camper receives a camp T-shirt and swim cap and is eligible to receive merit-based prizes during camp. Flexible cancellation options are available, and last year camp sessions sold out at this location. Campers enrolling only in the one-day Starts & Turns Clinic must select the commuter option, and overnight accommodations are exclusively reserved for campers participating in the full week program.
