About the provider

Michael Stinson is the founder and head instructor of Centerline Jiu-Jitsu Chandler. He has trained in martial arts for over 30 years and has practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2008. He earned a 4th-degree black belt in To-Shin Do, and the instructors are described as certified professionals. The academy focuses on practical Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training and says it serves adults and families from surrounding towns, including Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe, Phoenix, and Scottsdale. It also accepts Arizona ESA funding for eligible families.

The academy offers a free trial class. Classes include warm-ups, technique drills, partner work, and cool-downs. Youth classes are described as safe, supportive, and supervised.
