Actor's Youth Theatre

Actor's Youth Theatre offers AYT Elite Performance, Acting for Theatre & Film, Homeschool: Little Mermaid Kids, Broadway Academy, and Hip Hop. Classes include acting, singing, dance, scene work, choreography, vocal technique, character development, rehearsals, ensemble building, rhythm, style, musicality, coordination, and performance skills.

Programs

• AYT Elite Performance — Ages 12-19 · Mondays from 5:00-8:00pm · $250 per month · Performance education in acting, singing, and dance; designed for dedicated young performers seeking intensive development.
• Acting for Theatre & Film — Ages 8-19 · Tuesdays from 4:30-6:00pm · $90 per month · Build confidence while learning acting techniques, character development, and performance skills through scene work and creative exercises.
• Homeschool: Little Mermaid Kids — Ages 7-18 · Tuesdays from 11:00am-1:30pm · $150 per month · Homeschool musical theater class bringing The Little Mermaid JR. to life through singing, dancing, acting, rehearsals, character work, and ensemble building.
• Broadway Academy — Ages 13-19 · Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00pm · $60 per month · Triple threat class focused on singing, dancing, and acting through choreography, vocal technique, scene study, and character development.
• Hip Hop — Ages 8-19 · Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm · $60 per month · High-energy hip hop class focused on confidence, rhythm, style, age-appropriate technique, choreography, musicality, coordination, and performance skills.

About the provider

Actor's Youth Theatre was founded in 2006, and the site also states “Since 2003.” It is an award-winning, non-profit theatre with a mission to educate, inspire and grow youth to reach their fullest potential on stage and in life. The leadership team includes Amy Nelson, Executive Director; Elise Stoffer, Artistic Director; Bruce Goolsby, Dance Instructor; and Cara Alvey, Acting Instructor.
