TSA Camps & Retreats at Camp Ponderosa Ranch offers a range of activities including a climbing tower, sand volleyball, full-size basketball courts, a splash pad, a pool, carpetball, giant Connect 4, disc golf, archery, an air rifle range, axe throwing, and hiking. The climbing tower rises over three stories above the forest floor and is operated by trained staff with advance reservations required. Target sports at the program include archery, air rifle, and axe throwing, with axe throwing limited to participants 18 and older and also requiring advance reservations.
Guests can play on a 9-hole disc golf course that weaves around a meadow, and they may bring their own discs or request to borrow discs by giving advance notice. Hiking options include Cross Trail and Black Canyon in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, and guided hikes can be reserved ahead of time. The program also offers an array of complimentary recreation activities such as the splash pad, pool, sand volleyball, full-size basketball courts, carpetball, and giant Connect 4.
The Chapel serves as the largest indoor meeting space and is A/V equipped for meetings, worship, classes, or movie night. The Dining Hall serves meals and is described as ensuring every dish satisfies appetite and taste. The Firepit Amphitheater includes ample seating, a stage, and firewood provided, and it accommodates up to 200 people. Conifer Cafe functions as a cozy coffee shop with espresso drinks, cream sodas, a fireplace, and board games. Meadow Hall, Mogollon, and Loma Hall are available as lodging and meeting options, and there are four meeting halls/classrooms and three villages available for full-camp retreats.
