Girls Golf of Phoenix states a mission to empower and inspire girls through golf, describing its focus as empowering girls ages 3–18 with engaging opportunities to dream big, build confidence, and develop their athletic abilities through practice sessions, tournaments, and family events, and using the phrase “Changing The Face of the Game!” The program highlights “Five E’s” that support this mission: EMPOWER, ENRICH, ENERGIZE, ENGAGE, and EXERCISE, each describing specific ways the program approaches confidence, character, passion for golf, role models, and athletic development. Girls Golf of Phoenix is a program of the Junior Golf Association of Arizona, is supported by the LPGA Foundation, and is described as a 501c3. It is primarily funded by local grants and contributions, and its membership and event opportunities operate independently from the JGAA and LPGA.
