Let’s Play Music offers a family class for ages 0–4 with a caregiver, a flagship foundational music and piano class for children ages 4–6, and an accelerated piano class for beginners ages 7–12. The program describes its lessons as “seriously fun music lessons” and states that it teaches serious music theory, piano technique, classical music, ear training, chord theory, classical music study, composition, and sight-singing through play. It states that early exposure is the key to talent, that a child’s auditory processing system is ripe for music from ages 0–9 (called the “Music Learning Window”), and that science has shown learning music uses the same brain function as learning a language. The program describes itself as a company that builds, teaches, inspires, and enriches, with programs for developing the total musician, and states that play is the way that children learn.

Let’s Play Music’s mission is “to enrich lives through the power of music.” The curriculum is nationally adopted and used by over 400 certified teachers. The program notes that there are now over 450 teachers and 13,000 students across the United States and Canada using the Let’s Play Music method.
