About

Ms. Carol's GYMKIDS offers educational non-competitive gymnastic classes that include toddler gymnastics, preschool gymnastics, homeschool gymnastics, and recreational gymnastics. The program also offers cheer class and cheer clinics, as well as pom, performance dance, beginner dance, ballet & jazz, hip hop, contemporary dance, pom dance, and a sing & dance class. Families can also schedule birthday parties and an OPEN GYM field trip.

• Ages: 2–17 years old

Ms. Carol's GYMKIDS states its mission as: “To develop happy, healthy, responsible, fit kids.” The gym is described as a family-friendly gym that provides a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for learning and is equipped with spring boards, low and high beams, parallel bars, floor mats, landing blocks and crash mats, training aids, a mushroom, trampolines, uneven bars, single bars, beams, a tire swing, swings, a 40 ft. x 40 ft. spring floor, a 30 ft. tumble trak, and more in a 5,000 sq. ft. space. It is a performance-based gymnastic school with an Annual Christmas Show in December, an Annual Recital in June, and other stage performances they will participate in.

The toddler class is a parent-included class with a developmental class format. Preschool classes for 4–6-year-old children follow the USAG compulsory skill-building routines beginning with level 1. They offer an early afternoon class for homeschool families, a program for homeschool groups to book the gym exclusively, and an OPEN GYM field trip using all the equipment in the 5,000 sq. ft. gym. Families are invited to try a free class. Birthday parties can be scheduled with customizable themes or with standard party supplies provided.

They state that they are hiring experienced gymnastic coaches who have a passion to motivate and teach children of all ages. They also state: “Find Out How We Won Our Award” and “Recreational Gymnastics, Cheer, Pom, Dance & Birthday Parties.” They work with several school and recreational groups to provide additional tumbling and skill training in a professional and safe environment.

For classes, they prefer biketards; if a child wears a leotard, they suggest sophies (shorts) as well. Hair is to be worn back away from the eyes regardless of length. Parents may drop off their child and are asked to be prompt at pickup time, and children are asked to arrive 5 minutes prior to class time. If a child receives a late pass, parents are asked to sign it and return it with an explanation; if a child receives 3 late passes within a short period of time, the child will be asked to reschedule this third class for another day, and this make-up must be made within a 2-week period.
