Metropolitan Youth Symphony offers a week-long summer music program and year-round strings classes, including Beginning Strings Class and Intermediate Strings Class. - Beginning Strings Class — Wednesdays 8:00am -9:15am · $300 · Registration & $30 Application Fee. The class fee of $300 is due on or before the first day of class, which is September 2, 2026 at 8:00 am.
- Intermediate Strings Class — Wednesdays 9:30am-10:30am · Registration & $30 Application Fee. Deposit Only.

About the provider
Metropolitan Youth Symphony says its mission is to educate young instrumental musicians in the art of performance to develop character, discipline, leadership, cultural awareness, and a strong commitment to excellence. It also states that this work helps MYS contribute to the Valley of the Sun's musical heritage and create a higher level of appreciation for the performing arts.
- Yoga for Musicians — Elective offering for campers to learn basic yoga poses that may improve posture and balance, ease tension, and build flexibility.
Registration is open. Summer camp is open to MYS and non-MYS members. Half Day Camp requires 1 year string experience and may opt for 8-3pm with an additional $100 fee. All groups have a free concert on Friday, June 26th at 6:30pm.
