Desert Outdoor Center Programs include activities such as stargazing and guided hikes along the barrier-free trail. Over 30 ranger-led programs are offered for day or overnight visits, with subjects that range from reptiles to survival and archaeology to alternative energy. Ranger-led programs require a minimum of 25 participants and allow up to 150 participants, and participants experience views of the surrounding lake and mountains.
