Arizona Family Karate Academy offers Karate for Kids, bully prevention, and family martial art classes that include Shotokan Karate, Okinawa Kempo Karate, and Kodokan Judo. Arizona Family Karate Academy opened in 1992 and has been serving the North Phoenix community for over 27 years. The academy’s mission statement is that it is committed to unlocking the full potential of every individual through the transformative power of martial arts. Sensei Cathy Anderson is listed as Instructor/Owner, Chief Master, and Master Instructor, and is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, Okinawa Kempo Karate, and Kodokan Judo, as well as holding several other black belts. Arizona Family Karate Academy offers a Special Introductory Offer of 2 weeks free plus a uniform, and the starter program includes a private intro meeting, 2 weeks, and a uniform.
