FC Batavia offers competitive youth soccer with competitive soccer training, professional team training, and game coaching. The program includes personal training, 1-on-1 training, small group training, position specific training, residential camps, skills clinics, holiday camps, finishing schools, goalkeeper training, and a winter academy clinic.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: FCB teams and players train 2–3 times per week and play games and tournaments most weekends; the winter academy clinic takes place on Saturday 20th from 10:00–11:30 am
FC Batavia is a non-profit youth soccer club based in the north valley. FC Batavia’s elite coaching staff has been successfully developing Arizona players and teams since 1997. The club describes its culture as competitive, ambitious, and professionally run while also community-based, family-oriented, fun, and open. Its mission is to teach Arizona youth, regardless of socio-economic background, how to succeed in life through the microcosm of and vehicle for life that is soccer.
The leadership team includes Rick Tilmans as Director of Coaching at FC Batavia and Director of Coaching for Competitive U12 and above, and David Taylor as Academy Director for Academy U11 and below. DPS Soccer Training’s Matt Ferguson brings knowledge and experience from his professional career spanning 5 countries. Training for younger age groups is heavily based on Small Sided Games and the Coerver Coaching Method and its Pyramid of Player Development.
FC Batavia offers year-round professional soccer training and coaching for all ages and levels. The club has a College Program that guides ambitious players through their 4 years of high school to reach collegiate soccer aspirations. Top players have European Professional Trials opportunities to participate in European trials at professional soccer clubs. The club has a Professional Goalkeeper Director to develop goalkeepers in 7v7, 9v9, 11v11, and high school formats, and the goalkeeper program includes online educational workshops appropriate for age levels and support for goalkeepers and parents on and off the field, 24/7.
FC Batavia has an exclusive 4-year collaboration with New Balance as its exclusive uniform supplier through Soccer.com beginning with the 2024–25 season, with New Balance and FC Batavia described as Official Partners and Community Partners.
