Mad Science of NE Phoenix

Mad Science of NE Phoenix offers summer camps for ages 5-12 with interactive, hands-on science activities, as well as after-school programs for ages 5-12 that are 1 hour per week and include a science-themed take-home toy each class. It also offers virtual workshops with interactive projects, school shows, and live birthday parties with science materials and science-themed toys.

Programs

• Summer Camps — 5-12 · Full-day and half-day options available; 5 days of activities; full-day 9AM-4PM; half-day 9AM-12PM or 1PM-4PM · Interactive, hands-on science programs. Before- and after-care available for $8/hr per kid, from 8 AM to 5 PM, 1 hour minimum.
• After-School Programs — 5-12 · 1-hour class per week, usually for 8 weeks (varies by location); standard program held immediately after school for 1 hour and typically lasts for 4 or 8 weeks; can be 4 to 12 weeks · Hands-on science programs themed around science topics; take-home educational science-themed toy every class.
• Workshops and Shows — Virtual workshops with interactive projects, or a show for the whole school.
• Birthday Parties — Live parties with science materials and science-themed toys.

Mad Science of N.E. Phoenix is locally owned and operated by Adam Mendoza. The program says it is proud to celebrate more than 20 years of bringing STEM experiences to kids all over Arizona. The program also says it is a leading science enrichment provider with well-trained instructors, extensive background checks for instructors, over 150 locations, over 20 countries, and over 30 years in business.

Camp instructors have experience working with large groups of elementary-aged children and have undergone an extensive background check. Child to instructor ratio varies depending on enrollment, with at least one instructor for every 12-15 students. After-school program refund policy: refund before the second week with a $25 processing fee; no refund after the second week; no refunds for missed classes. Payment is required at registration. Camp minimum enrollment is 10 campers.
