About
Camp Wamatochick Summer Youth Camp includes use of a sports field, low ropes course, archery with 6 large targets, sand volleyball, a Ga Ga Ball court, and a 1/2 court basketball area. Campers also have access to many hiking trails, star gazing, and options for kayak and canoe rental at Gold Water Lake, as well as horseback rides that are brought to camp.
• Ages: 13–18 years old
• Price: 2026 lodging rates for new groups signing up: $40.00 per person per night plus $12.00 per meal per person. Optional snacks: $2.50 per person. All day drinks: an extra charge of $2.50 per person. Special diets are an upcharge of $5.00 per meal per person. Tri Tip Dinner available for $20.00 each.
Camp Wamatochick Summer Youth Camp has 200 beds in cabins and lodges, with overflow cots available upon request for larger groups, three lodges, 15 cabins, 4 bath houses, and a cafeteria that seats 200 and has an 80" TV with all connections next to a large commercial kitchen. Starlink Wifi is available on site. Star gazing is offered by Brian Blau and the Prescott Astronomy Club. This institution is operated under special use permit with the Prescott National Forest, and Camp Wamatochick is an equal opportunity provider. USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
