Into the Wild Outdoors was founded by John and Andrea Hedges. The mission of the program is to disciple people’s hearts in Christ through every arrow drawn, trigger pulled, line cast, trail hiked, and fire built. It equips youth and families with practical skills and Biblical truth, including meat processing, glassing, conservation projects, Hunter’s Ed/safety, and survival training, with every gathering including a devotion that ties faith to real life. The program was founded to bridge faith and the outdoors by raising up the next generation to know Christ while learning skills to thrive in His creation, with all activities centered around Biblical truth. One parent shared, “This organization is one in a million. My son Jess and I came from Michigan for a hunting trip. We came here as hunters and we left with new friends. They went above and beyond.”
