Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley After School and Summer Programs offers meals, tutoring, sports, arts, and other activities each day. The program includes a daily academic enrichment activity, homework help, daily physical activity, and healthy fun and recreation. Participants also take part in education programs that complement and reinforce what youth learn during the school day, as well as physical fitness, character development, leadership training, career pathway and workforce readiness learning, and internship opportunities.

• Schedule: After school programming from 3pm–7pm, with the program staying open until 7pm
• Price: At just $40–$80 per month during the school year (including snacks and a hot, nutritious dinner at no additional cost)
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley After School and Summer Programs is led by caring, professional, well-trained staff. For 75 years, BGCAZ has been creating equity and opportunity for youth and now serves 20,000+ young people in grades K–12 through 30 Clubs across the Valley. The organization’s mission is to empower young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible members of the community. BGCAZ provides award-winning programs that are organized around four priority outcomes: academic success, good character and leadership, healthy lifestyles, and career pathways and workforce readiness, and these programs are rooted in social-emotional development practices. The program is described as the largest childcare provider in the Valley, offers affordable after-school and summer programs, supports families’ work schedules by staying open until 7 pm, and includes snacks and a hot, nutritious dinner at no additional cost.
