ARKA Ballet Academy offers training in ballet and classical ballet. The program includes classical ballet classes based on a structured syllabus.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
Under the direction of Hagop Kharatian and Irina Abramyan, the ARKA Ballet Academy trains dancers from beginner through professional levels. The ballet syllabus is based on the Vaganova method of teaching Classical Ballet, a Russian school known for its superb technique and pure style of performance. The faculty includes experienced teachers who have had successful careers in dance, and students can receive training and coaching from internationally known choreographers and ballet masters. ARKA Ballet Academy offers a friendly environment for students ages 5–20. Its mission is to provide the finest quality education and the highest artistic standards in ballet technique and related arts, and to bring new levels of excellence to the art of classical ballet in the classroom and in the community. The program states that through this mission it will enrich the cultural life of the community, and its goal is to develop a new generation of professional dancers as well as build a life-long appreciation for the art of ballet.
