Sedona Arts Center School of the Arts offers ongoing instruction in painting and ceramics. It also offers crash courses that include all materials and have no membership discount, along with Gallery 928, a summer art apprenticeship for teens ages 15-22.

About the provider

Sedona Arts Center was founded in 1958 as Canyon Kiva and became Sedona Arts Center in 1961. It has over 68 years of artistic excellence, is one of Northern Arizona’s oldest nonprofit arts organizations, and is led by Julie Richard, CEO; Ben Roti, studio manager; Lolo Howe, instructor; John Post, instructor; and Nassan Gobran, founder and educator. Its mission is connecting, enriching, educating and leading through the inspiring power of the arts and creative discovery.

• Ceramics Studio closure — The Ceramics Studio will be closed October 19th - October 24th, 2026.

Donors at the $70 Friend level and above receive a 10% discount. Scholarship funds may be available for those who would benefit and have need. Members receive discounts on eligible classes and workshops when logged in. Crash courses include all materials and have no membership discount.
