Tohono Chul has been recognized for over a quarter of a century and has served as a place of wonder, connection, and desert beauty for 40 years. The broader Tohono Chul setting includes 49 acres of gardens, natural trails, art galleries, and museum shops, along with a Garden Bistro offering regionally inspired fare and fresh Southwestern flavors. The museum shops offer a curated collection of art, plants, books, gifts, and souvenirs inspired by Tucson and the Sonoran Desert, and the site is renowned for its view of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The organization’s mission states that it is a community oasis where reverence for the cultural and natural ecology of the Sonoran Desert region inspires responsible stewardship so that future generations may thrive.
