The Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. Its mission is to present culturally diverse, live performing arts and educational experiences that inspire audiences and artistically transform the community. The organization offers an extensive artist-in-residency program and a summer arts camp as part of its youth and community programming. Through a joint effort between the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts (formerly known as the Wickenburg Foundation for the Performing Arts), a group of local arts supporters, and the Wickenburg Unified School District, a professional theatre was constructed in 2000 as an integral part of the Wickenburg High School campus, and the Webb Center opened for its inaugural season in the fall of 2001. The organization continues to raise funds through grants and donations to maintain sound and lighting technology and to expand its performance capabilities, and it brings educational experiences to the greater community.
