AKXE Jiu Jitsu Academy – Kids & Teens Program includes Jiu Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, Muay Thai, conditioning classes, movement exercises, coordination development exercises, and self-defense skills. Kids Jiu-jitsu is offered for ages ranging from 3–14 years. Classes for 3–7 year olds introduce the most basic and gentle aspects of jiu-jitsu, including mount, guard, and hip escape, while classes for 8–14 include all Jiu Jitsu basics as well as conceptual ideas for development and growth in martial arts. Parents are welcome to take part in the program.

Professor Rodrigo Carvalho, Founder of AKXE BJJ USA Academy, is a world-renowned 5th Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with over 30 years of experience and is a 3-time Brazilian State Champion and NAGA Black Belt Champion. Professor Zachary Kraschinsky, an instructor and professor at AKXE Jiu Jitsu Academy, holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is a seasoned professional in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Professor Kameron Fardad is the first black belt under Professor Rodrigo Carvalho and is part of the leadership team at the academy. AKXE BJJ USA Academy is consistently ranked as the premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school for adults and children in Agoura Hills, California. At the core of the AKXE BJJ USA Academy philosophy is the belief that Jiu-Jitsu is a vehicle for total life transformation.
Rodrigo Carvalho founded Fight For A Kid, a non-profit that provides more than just athletic training to underprivileged youth in Brazil, including support for international mobility, world-class competition, and career development in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Through Fight For A Kid, the academy offers infrastructure for gifted youth to reach high levels in the sport, including international travel and competition support, as well as pathways to professional instructorship and global career placement. Frequently asked questions and rules regarding sparring, guests, uniforms, and facility use are provided, and it is mandatory to use the AKXE Academy’s GI, preferably in white, with wrestling shoes prohibited. The program takes place in world-class facilities in a modern, clean, and family-oriented environment with a holistic approach that applies an understanding of human biomechanics to prevent injury and maximize athletic longevity.
