Ramona Summer Programs

Ramona Summer Programs offers a four-week summer session where students spend time laughing, dancing, exploring, painting, planting, reading, creating, learning, and making new friends on campus. The summer session is open to girls and boys in grades 5–12, and a separate summer camp is open to girls and boys entering grades K–5.

• Schedule: Four-week summer session from Monday, June 22nd to Friday, July 17th; summer camp from Monday, June 15th to Friday, July 24th

Ramona Summer Programs takes place at Ramona Convent Secondary School, which has over 130 years of history. The program leadership includes Sr. Kathleen Callaway, SNJM (President), Alberto Chavarria (Principal), Halina Szymanski (Associate Principal for Curriculum & Faculty Development), and Christina Martin (Director of Admissions, Camp Director). Halina Szymanski holds an M.Ed. and a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an Administrative Services Credential from California State University, Fullerton. Ramona Convent is a Catholic college-preparatory high school for young women sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary and is committed to excellence in education. Ramona has received STEM School of Excellence recognition, reports 100% college acceptance to nationwide colleges, notes that 77% of students take AP or Honors classes, and reports $10.6 million in college merit earned, along with 29,220 service hours completed by the Class of 2025. The school community participates in the South Central's Los Angeles Ministry Project (LAMP) Toy Drive.
