About

Camp Chill takes place on the ice and includes activities such as ice skating, figure skating, youth hockey, and adult hockey. The program connects with Skating School and Silver Hockey School, and participants can also take part in public skating sessions and fundraising events. Skating School classes are 30 minutes long and include options like a full-ice Stroking & Skating Skills class on Saturdays from 11:00–11:30 AM.

• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Skating School class options on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays; 30-minute classes, with a free Skating School trial class on 6/20 at 2:05 PM
• Price: 1st class $30 per class meeting, billed on the first of each month; add a 2nd class for $25 per class meeting; add Stroking class for $30 per class meeting; additional family members $28 per class meeting, billed monthly

Skating School classes include a free practice on the afternoon public session on the day of class. All registrants must be Learn to Skate USA members and register through the Customer Portal. Makeup tokens are automatically created when a student is marked absent, expire 30 days from the missed class, cannot be transferred to siblings for credit, and must be used while the skater is actively enrolled.

The leadership team includes General Manager Garrett Dickens, Proshop and Accounting lead Adam Edwards, Events Coordinator Chris Devaud, Adult League Director Kirby Bressler, Social Media Manager Aaron Parsons, Skating School Administrator Emma Borders, Learn to Skate Program Director Traci Milner, and Silver Hockey School Director Steve Silver. The mission of the rink is to offer public skating sessions, ice skating and figure skating group classes, and Silver Hockey School in an environment focused on ice-skating experiences, fun, fitness, and family-friendly excitement on the ice. Fundraising events are available as a way for schools, teams, or organizations to raise money while spending time on the ice.

Families are advised to make sure skaters are dressed warmly, bring gloves or mittens, and use snug skates tied tightly, with optional protective gear such as helmets and knee pads. The rink notes that there are no charges for blackout dates when it is closed for a holiday, maintenance, or a tournament, and that it will be closed for ice maintenance from 6/28–7/20, with customers directed to visit the Lake Forest location during that time. New skate times starting 4/11 include morning, afternoon, and weekend sessions.
