Creative Arts and Music offers group music classes, private instrument lessons, and summer camps that include piano, drums, guitar, musical theater, and choir/vocal coaching classes. The program also offers after-school music classes and after-school art classes. Seasonal group music classes meet on Wednesdays, and students in group classes are assessed on the first day to ensure proper level placement.

• Ages: 8–16 years old
• Schedule: Seasonal Wednesday group music classes, with a spring session from January 14 to May 13 and a weekly summer 2026 session of one-hour Wednesday classes for 6 weeks
• Price: 30-minute private lessons are $125 per month; 60-minute violin lessons are $250 per month; summer 2026 group classes are $60 for 6 weeks of one-hour classes

The program’s mission is making quality music lessons accessible to every student in Orange County and improving students’ lives by awakening their ability and giving them the knowledge to make music. The program is led by Alisa Hopper, Director of Creative Arts and Music, who has been teaching, preaching, and leading worship in churches, schools, and organizations for over 30 years. Irene Cheng teaches in the program and completed her Master’s of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Cal State East Bay in 2022 and the Music Education Certificate Program from Cal State East Bay in 2023.

The creative arts and music program strives to provide music and art classes for the after-school program at the Henley Youth Center in Tustin and for survivors residing at anti-trafficking facilities around the county. The program offers an instructional YouTube channel and Instagram account (@tsamusicarts). Full scholarships are available to qualifying students, and registration is on a first come, first serve basis, with registration for summer camps and summer session classes opening May 14 at 10:00am.

The spring recital for the current spring session is on May 13 at 5:00pm and is open for everyone to attend, and no summer recital is held. Payments for lessons are due at the first lesson of each month and can be made by personal checks, cash, or online payments, and tuition for summer session classes is due at the first class.
