Imagination Academy’s mission is to bring high quality care and education to a diverse set of students, honoring the uniqueness in each child and celebrating the strength in each family unit. The teaching team is described as well educated, caring, experienced, and as a group of seasoned women who are mothers and grandmothers. The staff includes fluently bilingual Spanish teachers who celebrate dual language in the classroom, and the teaching team is described as being as diverse as the community served. The program has a non-discrimination policy that celebrates inclusion, respect, and diversity and admits children regardless of race, religion, gender, national and ethnic origin.
The leadership team includes Director Bernice Black and Owner Sonna Dhamrait. The owner describes traveling with the military community as a military wife and sharing activities and ideas with others in the community, and Imagination Academy is described as giving staff an opportunity to serve the community.
