Maximus Martial Arts Academy & Combat Sports offers self-defense training, combat sports, anti-bullying programs, and fitness sessions. Students can train in Kajukenbo, Muay Thai boxing, kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, and combat sports competition, with options for age group classes, personal training classes, and corporate seminar courses.

Maximus Martial Arts Academy & Combat Sports offers highly structured programs for all skill levels and ages 4 and up, with a results-driven self-defense system with a Trinity Focus. Chief Instructor Grand Master Dennis Guila holds a 9th-degree Red Belt, is a combat-trained veteran of the United States Army, and has been inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Los Angeles, CA, as well as the World Masters Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Anaheim, CA, and received the Golden Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009. The academy is described as an award-winning establishment with over 27 years of fostering character growth and life skills, and Grand Master Guila has spent over 52 years honing his skills and passing on that knowledge to students. The program is Christian based, integrates real-world combat experience into its teachings, and offers a free trial lesson, with corporate seminar courses available worldwide by Grand Master Guila. Maximus Martial Arts Academy & Combat Sports serves Antioch, CA and surrounding communities including Brentwood, Oakley, Concord, Alamo, Walnut Creek, Danville, and San Ramon, and has teamed up with Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
